Drupal Platform for Public Media

The overload factor

This looks to be a fascinating and much needed project.  Having reviewed the set of modules, I wonder if there is perhaps an overload factor in play?  Now I've not had much of a chance to really study things, but I've made some install profiles before, and my experience has been that I usually end up simplifying things to make support/engagement most effective.I'll parade my ignorance here and ask if this 'install' is tasked with replacing an entire application, or if it could perhaps be phased in by targeting the low hanging fruit first, then turning on functionality over time?  The reason I ask is that as I looked through the modules, I immediately tried to visualize what the 'administer' screen would look like to a novice...yikes!Well, those are just some observations from a first glance point of view.  I notice (not without irony) that many of the discussions here are pretty old...hope to hear from some of you closer to the project.Mark

Who's Who

Following up from the BoF at Drupalcon Richard suggested we create a who's who list to see who we are and where we might collaborate. Let's start with a wiki post and see where it goes from here.

What is next

We are just wrapping up the Geek Squad BoF at DrupalCon. Where do we go from here? This is a place where we can keep the chat moving.

who's who directory?

was great to meet everyone at the drupalcon geek squad bof! Would be super helpful to me if we had a "who's who" directory with everyone's role, experience and interests. So I know who to bug... I mean collaborate with!
